Beautiful location...and ...I did it!
You successfully navigated the labyrinth!
i'm hooked
I'm ever so pleased that you are!
This is wonderful
i like getting odly specific recomendations on themes i don't know a thing about
Give it time, you'll get hooked, as did I.
Unusual rendition of a labyrinth - more so than some of the others. Jared, have you considered making a comment or two about the about the music accompanying each video? It's probably a lot of work but I'd love to hear what you have to say about the music you choose.
Well, all the music is composed by and performed by me. I figured that was the easiest way to avoid copyright problems. Ha ha!
this video is a true masterpiece.
Just you wait...
The blue tile is quite nice.
Oh, we have some other lovely colored tiles coming up...
@@fredwardmchinch I am definetly going subscribe to see more of them!
im here for the tiles :D
I'll do my best to deliver more tile-related content for you!
@@fredwardmchinch thanks!
Just found this channel but it is a grand find indeed!
I'm so pleased! Spread the word!
The blue is nice. Thanks for pointing it out.
Oh my gosh! This is definitely on my "must do" list for next time. Is it the only funicular in the underground system? (I chuckle every time you say "disembark" because I once heard an announcer say "When you alight from the train..." and I have used that term ever since. : )
I'll start using "alight" as well! As for "incline lifts" this is the only one I came across during my searches. I think I saw one more right at the end of our time in London, but I can't recall which station!
Love the music--of course. This was the easiest one to follow with the cursor. And I loved seeing Kitty!
Great!
Love this, great vibes
So frickin’ talented brother.
Your background score is beautiful! I'll be revisiting this often.
That was incredible; thank you for sharing this
I might have stuck with the clarinet if I had had a master like Jaren to show me how good it could sound.
Not sure I should be listening to this at 3am, but I do love to watch the finger's fly!
☹️ "PromoSM"
Love it!
So beautiful! Touches the heartstrings!
I love it Jaren! I saw you had written this when I was reading the BYU School of Music alumni Dec Music Journal online, and just had to look it up. Cheerful, fun, and very creative!
Thanks Christian! Glad you liked it.
Amazing that centuries later, the atmosphere around this fountain remains as Respighi captured it in his composition, playful and cheery.
I really like this!
I love that I can imagine myself there...
What a fun piece! And great playing too! 👏
🙂
Yay, great to see and hear all of you!
lovely :)
OH I want to go! Oh wait, I have kids to take care of... :) WAVES at Jaren.
What a beautiful piece of music! My son and I very much enjoyed hearing it live! ❤
Our map app will take us to a ' labyrinth near me'. People have made them everywhere, and invite everyone
I’m having trouble deciding which movement I like better, they are both so good!
Beautiful! Truly one of my favorite pieces of Eb Clarinet Repertoire!
your ingredients seem good. please, what are they ?
There is a crematorium near my city that has an exact replica of this labyrinth outside and it’s made from rocks. I love it.
Good Technique!
Hi Jaren, We want to use this video in a television program that I work for in the Netherlands. Is there any way that I can get in touch with you? Please let me know! Kind regards, Robbie During
You can email me at contact@jarenhinckley.com
Alright... I was deciding wether or not to do a painting of the labyrinth, this settles it, gotta be done.
Why? It's not like it needs you to confirm its existence.
Jaren, you're just so darn clever. What a treat - to see the art and to see you perform. I'm fortunate to be a fan since Oly '87 days. xo Christy C
Hey! Christy! Great to hear from you.
LOVE it!
I REALLY like this! SO charming! Some really great sounds and textures created. Especially the Quetzlcoatl: Loved that Eb cadenza. Really captured the feathered serpent, then I get a really strong Phillip Glass vibe from the ensemble playing, super cool.
Thank you so much. I am so glad you liked it. Yeah, the other three players almost get into a meditative state with that minimalist chord progression while the e-flat player gets to go crazy.
That was such a treat!! Thank you for posting and sharing your talent and the fun art.
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
that was really really cool! at first i was confused but now i seem to just feel happy! this is very interesting!
Skateboard to skateboard. Nice.
Charming, creative, and so excellently performed, as always. Did you name the art pieces or were they already named by the graphic artist?
The artist said he prefers that the viewer interpret the art in their own way. So I made up all the titles--although when I was talking with him about the first one, which had a different name, originally, he said it was like a "hidden world" with lots of symbolism, so I renamed it.
This was so enjoyable! I loved how you played each instrument to its fullest extent. I also liked the art from the bridge and how you created such fun music to interpret each one. So fun!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Fascinating, charming, eccentric! Great job! Love your shirts, too!
Hey, the clothes gotta change to match the mood! :-)
Glory to God in the Highest!
You're an amazing composer/arranger, Jaren! What a nice tribute to Larry. Doesn't seem possible that it's been 28 years until I look in the mirror, LOL.
Thanks! I can't believe it's been 15 years since I visited you in Nebraska!
